As the night fell across the land, the undead shall appear fully eager to feed apron the mortals of the day. A madden wonders on her nightly stroll, she follows along the rivers edge. This night was unlike any night that she can remember. The hills shrill with life, the darkness came alive with the since of evil. As her pace quickens her heartbeat begins to pound, as if there was a drum in her chest. Her long flowing dress flows behind her swiftly moving body. She feels a cold, airy hand wrap around her neck and she begins to get pulled backwards. When she felt the grasp she tried to scream but nothing came out not even an utter.

While she was dragged backwards she dug her heals into the cold soil, but the creature is too strong and determined. After a while she sees a faint hew from behind her, then as the creature pulls her toward the hue grows blinding. The creature loosened its hold from her neck. She quickly turned and met eyes with a young man surrounded by the bright light. All that she saw was his silhouette and his strong royal blue eyes starring back at her. Inside she didn't know what to think or do. She felt scared, confused, and yet deep down she knew that she had known him form somewhere. They both stood there facing each other for what seemed like hours.

In the distance the faint rays of dawn shown over the mountains to the east. He reached out for her hand and said, "M'lady I must leave you now," he raised her hands to his lips and kissed it softly. "Until tonight,"  and with that he had vanished and so had the light. After a few seconds of awe. She glanced around, finding herself in a beautiful grove covered with flowers that twinkled in the morning light.

She started back to her home still thinking about the majestically man that she had met. When she entered the small town that she had called her home, everything was going on as normal. Everyone was running about doing their jobs and doing their arrons. She meandered slowly through town to her small little house that was covered with ivy. Her parents had given the house to her when they had died.

During her whole life she had been searching for something or someone, she never knew who her real family was. She was taken in by a grateful couple named Lord Stelf and Pemay. This couple was never able to bare a child. So one day to their dismay when they where sitting down for their daily tea they heard a child crying. The crying was so very close that it had startled them when they first heard it. Lady Pemay walked over to the door and opened it. When she looked out she didn't see anything, but when she looked down she saw an infant wrapped in a black cloth lying on the ground. After a while Load Stelf and Lady Pemay began to like the idea of having a child of their very own, and adopted her. They decided to name her Emerald, because of the color of her eyes and they though that it would fit, because they never knew if she had a name. They brought her up as if she was their own.

As the day began to set to the west Emerald left her home for her nightly stroll along the waters edge. As she walked through the town she felt the cold, brisk air of night agents her face. And the calm breeze blowing throughout her long black hair. When she reached the bank of the river she could see a figure standing about two hundred paces south of her. While she walked toward closer to the figure he turned and around and looked at her with his royal blue eyes.

He reached for her hand and brought it up to his mouth and kissed it softly. "I am glad that you came M'lady." The moon rose and she could see him sweet, warm-hearted smile. His face was still dark but she could still see the faint outline of his face and could see his silver hair shining in the moonlight. His hair looked so glourous blowing there in the wind. Once again she got the feeling that she knows this mysterious man.

They both connected eye her Emerald eyes with his royal blue ones. He says "M'lady I can tell that it has been far to long for you to remember who I am, I am Lord Future," she knows the name from somewhere. "I remember you from before the earth changed and became like this. When it was one a world of dark, and you and I where one. Maybe this will remind you," as he says that he leans forward and kisses Emerald passionately on the lips.

Everything hits her all in a rush, past memories, and the truth of which the mysterious man is. She looks up at him and says, "I, I am moonlight aren't I? And you Future are my love." As he gases back into her eyes he says, "Yes my dear, it's been along time." They embrace each other in their arms and walk toward the glowing light in the middle of the beautiful grove, that is not visible now. The walk to gather hand in hand, heart in heart throughout the light back to their realm.
